SERGIO LARRAIN – VAGABONDAGES
2013-09-09A new exhibition of the Chilean photographer Sergio Larrain (1931 – 2012) opens. This set traces the essential of his singular career. Rare images, a poetic approach, a brilliant photographer who inspired a whole generation of photographers.
The Fondation HCB’s exhibition will be showing on two floors, 128 black and white photographs. Among them, a precious set of vintage prints from Magnum Photos collection and some previously unseen. The abandoned children of Santiago, London, Paris, Italy, Valparaiso and the South America in general are some of the exhibited series.
To complete the exhibition, a major book has been published by Éditions Xavier Barral.
