2015-08-17Before Sheffield monoliths The Black Dog return with their fourth full-length on their own Dust Science imprint, the trio tease with a stylised foretaste in the form of two revamped singles. Commodities & Pavement sees Ken Downie, Martin and Richard Dust steer both ‘Platform Lvl 6’ and ‘Commodification’ clearer towards the floor. ‘Platform Lvl 6’ gets the Crash Mix treatment, expanding the original version’s dynamic bass arpeggios, and ‘Commodification’ cries out for a big room sound system with its high impact kicks and echoing elements.
