CARHARTT WIP X SUBU SLIPPERS
2024-09-16Carhartt WIP and SUBU work in collaboration to create a pair of cozy slip-ons for the colder seasons ahead. The Japanese brand specializes in creating winter sandals and its expertise is tapped as the silhouette is made using Cordura’s classic strong fabrication.
The outer shell is made from recycled polyester — this is notably abrasion-resistant and flame-retardent from campfires. Under the exterior, the shoes are soft and cozy as it is lined with a plush inner section and then further supported by a puffed 4-layer pillow insert. In terms of its visual appeal, the slip-ons are finished in Carhartt WIP’s signature Hamilton Brown palette. Branding is seen in the form of a square-shaped label stitched on the side.
