ABSOLUT – TOMORROW TODAY BY SETH TROXLER & RUN
2016-07-11Absolut is delighted to present a new immersive Art Bar by internationally renowned DJ Seth Troxler and artist RUN (Giacomo Bufarini) in the nightlife capital of the world, Ibiza. Located in an iconic Ibiza venue, and titled Tomorrow Today, Seth Troxler and RUN offer a fresh and unique twist on the Absolut Art Bar, fusing music and visual art.
The installation includes food from Troxler’s BBQ and Grill, Smokey Tails, for the first time outside of the UK. Tomorrow Today also features one-of-a-kind Artist Cocktails designed by Seth Troxler and his team at Smokey Tails, and inspired by the overall themes of his Art Bar, incorporating citrus notes and earthy spices with futuristic components.
“My approach to curating the Absolut Art Bar was to create a space that emphasises discovery, participation, and communal interaction. We wanted to communicate the idea of a found reality, a newly discovered way of life in a world similar to our own, that’s undefinable by time, while seeming slightly futuristic. One thing I’ve found with all my travels is that every culture in the world starts communication and bonding with food, drinks and music. We wanted to create an environment that entices people to step out of their boundaries and into our mini immersive world that is Tomorrow, Today“
