2009-09-07Todd James (a.k.a REAS) is a famous international artist, who started painting on the subways of New York in 1982. He is an important figure amongst the generation of street artists who influenced popular culture on every level, and who have come to be recognized by some of the most prominent contemporary art galleries in the world. James’s singular aesthetic is consistently funny, relentlessly appealing, and often transgressive. This is his first exhibition in Paris.
