The exhibition merges intimate portraits of family and friends with captivating landscapes, reflecting themes of identity, belonging, and the intricate interplay between humanity and nature. The portraits capture a lifetime of cherished faces, while the landscapes reveal the artist’s profound connection to the Salinas Valley.

As a person of mixed Filipino and Mexican heritage, Ramos navigates the complexities of identity, echoing the experiences of many. These photographs, from birth to the end of life, remind us that we are all connected, regardless of our backgrounds.

JAMESON CARIBBEAN BEATS WHISKEY

Posted on 2023-10-09

Coming as the newest addition to The Jameson Anthology, it explores brand-new flavors from Jameson for an altogether take on an “Irish icon.” It comes hot on the heels of Jameson’s 15-year-old single pot still, which launched last year to celebrate the spirit of classic discontinued whiskeys.

Now, the Jameson Remixed Caribbean Beats begins a new era for Jameson. Representing a new interpretation of Jameson Irish Whiskey, the beverage is a blend of single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys that were initially laid down in rum casks sources from the Caribbean island of Barbados more than two decades ago.

Eighteen years later, Jameson’s Master Distiller, Kevin O’Gorman, was curious to explore how a second style of rum might impact the flavor of the liquid and decided to age the whiskey for a further three years in Selección de Maestros Havana Club rum seasoned casks, which imparted an especially rich rum contribution.

Fully aged for 21 years in the rum-seasoned casks, the grain whiskey adopts sweetness from brown sugar and vanilla, while the pot still takes on fruit flavors of orange zest and mango. This rare expression retains a clear reference to Jameson’s smooth DNA through its balance of grain and pot-still whiskeys, yet it’s elevated to new heights with its experimental aging.

THE EXORCIST: BELIEVER

Posted on 2023-10-02

Since the death of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake 12 years ago, Victor Fielding (Tony winner and Oscar® nominee Leslie Odom, Jr.; One Night in Miami, Hamilton) has raised their daughter, Angela (Lidya Jewett, Good Girls) on his own.

But when Angela and her friend Katherine (newcomer Olivia O’Neill), disappear in the woods, only to return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, it unleashes a chain of events that will force Victor to confront the nadir of evil and, in his terror and desperation, seek out the only person alive who has witnessed anything like it before: Chris MacNeil.

For the first time since the 1973 film, Oscar® winner Ellen Burstyn reprises her iconic role as Chris MacNeil, an actress who has been forever altered by what happened to her daughter Regan five decades before.
