Adidas drops a new iteration of one of its most familiar court classics. They have revamped the Continental 80 in a “White/Bluebird” colorway, delivering a clean, minimal look for the retro kicks.
The top of the sneakers come with a wide leather tongue tab stamped with “adidas” branding, followed by blue graphics and tonal flat laces covering the forefoot. adidas’ Trefoil logo appears at a small cutout just under the eyelet panels, keeping the sidewalls mostly clean. Just below the branded heel counter, the phrase “World Famous For Quality,” alongside a motif of the globe, is placed at the rear quarter. Subtle perforations at the toe box and lower sidewalls round up the details of sneaker’s uppers, while a crisp white midsole rounds up the shoe’s minimal design.

The newest edition of the Mario-meets-Gump art toy set features the iconic characters sporting blue and white for Fall. While the clothes strike a tame tone, it’s all about the footwear this time. Deceptively familiar at first, the plumber’s kicks have have a funky cutaway for maximum air flow. While not quite as out of the box, the peachy princess’ sneakers impress with detail from the distinct toe and heel panels to the overlapping Fools’ logos.

Awake NY drop its new collaborative capsule collection with Andrew this month.
Launched in 2012, Awake NY captures the unique cultural spirit and sensibility of New York City. Awake NY is a reflection of the diversity that has defined the city’s cultural landscape. Simultaneously classic and contemporary, Awake NY evokes both the changing aesthetic vibrancy and timelessness of New York.
Green-House is the project of Los Angeles based artist Olive Ardizoni.

Approaching the project with an intentional naivety, they craft songs that find freedom through simplicity. As a non-binary artist, they hope to create a space with fewer barriers as both a performer and a listener.
Their first release as Green-House, “Six songs for Invisible Gardens” (out Jan 15, 2020) was written with the intention of transforming the listening environment and augmenting domestic space. The music is designed as a communication with both plant life and the people who care for them.
