EXTRA BUTTER X PUMA “KINGS OF NEW YORK” CLYDE

Posted on 2017-06-05

Extra Butter’s creative directors, Jason Faustino and Bernie Gross, first met over a decade ago not as fellow sneakerheads but through the New York City b-boy scene. They understood that being a true b-boy was more than just about the dance. It’s about overall style- through the moves and clothes you’re rocking while doing them. It’s about originality. The crew you rep. The dedication to the craft. Blood, sweat and tears. It’s a mentality, a lifestyle. Once a b-boy, always a b-boy.-Introducing the Extra Butter x Puma “Kings of New York” Clyde. An ode to everyone who hustles to make their mark in the hardest city in the world.

Released July 8th

KONRAD SPRENGER – STACK MUSIC

Posted on 2017-06-05

Serious mathematical art music here on PAN from Joerg Hiller aka Konrad Sprenger. Dissatisfied with typical instruments and associated constraints, the musician spent years developing his own complex algorithms in order to add to the cannon of experimental kraut, minimalism and contemporary techno. From the opening track (‘Opening’), we are thrown into a warm bubblebath of Fahey/Basho meets Craig Leon circa ‘Nommos’ era, but without feeling in any way throwback. The two 18 minute epics ‘Finale’ and ‘Rondo’ meander between soft digital ambient sound design and horns, harps and assisted guitar work.
