The show pays homage to the intense relationship Miserachs had with Barcelona and his decisive influence on the construction of a photographic imaginary of the city that is still powerful today.

Accompanying the exhibition will be the photo-book Miserachs. Barcelona, published jointly with Editorial RM and edited by Horacio Fernández, as well as a book of essays on the photographer.

THE STANDARD HOTELS X PAM ANN X STNDAIR

Posted on 2015-08-18

The Standard hotels invited the infamous international air hostess, Pam Ann, to fly their trusty red seaplane to The Hamptons…Big mistake.

Owned by André Balazs’ Standard hotels, StndAIR offers flights to and from East Hampton and Shelter Island in a bright red Cessna 208 on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Mondays. Fitting up to eight people in a multi-windowed cabin, flights take 45 minutes, starting at $550, one way.

The Standard has pioneered a new benchmark for the boutique hotel sector and is one of the most recognisable design-led hotel brands in the States and internationally; with sites currently located in Hollywood; Downtown LA; Miami; East Village, New York; and the High Line, New York . The Standard, High Line hotel was chosen by Madonna as the location for the shoot of her most recent video, B*tch I’m Madonna, shot by Jonas Akerlund, and its penthouse bar, the Top of the Standard (also known as the Boom Boom Room) is one of the most famous bars in the world.

Tim is excited by the idea of a mystery, but Lee doesn’t want him to dig any further, preferring that he focus on the family taxes, which he promised to do weeks ago.
