TweetYet Again, is the second single from the band’s fourth studio album, Shields and features lead vocals from Ed Droste.The music video was directed by Emily Kai Bock. The video begins with an ice skater practicing in an empty ice rink. The ice skater then breaks through the ice and winds up in a lake. She then walks through a carnival and through a forest in order to get back to her skates. The video ends with the skater freaking out.
According to Bock, the skater was meant to be “symbolic of adolescence and the failure to learn a performance or role.
“Everything Is Embarrassing” is included on Ferreira’s new EP Ghost, out October 16th. It features collaborations with Cass McCombs, Jon Brion, Greg Kurstin, Ariel Rechtshaid, and Dev Hynes of Blood Orange. (Rechtshaid and Hynes co-wrote the track.) The track “Red Lips” was co-written by Shirley Manson of Garbage.
