The story is based on the years Kerouac spent travelling the United States in the 1940s with his friend Neal Cassady and several other figures who would go on to fame in their own right, including William S. Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg. It is being executive produced by Francis Ford Coppola.

In 1979, during the Iranian Revolution, militants take over the U.S. embassy in Tehran and hold 52 Americans hostage. Six other Americans escape and hide in the Canadian ambassador’s home.The Central Intelligence Agency and its specialist Tony Mendez (Affleck) put together a plan to help the six Americans escape Iran.
The film is based on Tony Mendez’s account of the rescue of six U.S. diplomats from Tehran, Iran during the 1979 Iran hostage crisis. The film stars Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, Alan Arkin and John Goodman. Directed by Ben Affleck.

GRIZZLY BEAR – YET AGAIN

Yet Again, is the second single from the band’s fourth studio album, Shields and features lead vocals from Ed Droste.The music video was directed by Emily Kai Bock. The video begins with an ice skater practicing in an empty ice rink. The ice skater then breaks through the ice and winds up in a lake. She then walks through a carnival and through a forest in order to get back to her skates. The video ends with the skater freaking out.
According to Bock, the skater was meant to be “symbolic of adolescence and the failure to learn a performance or role.

SKY FERREIRA – EVERYTHING IS EMBARRASSING

“Everything Is Embarrassing” is included on Ferreira’s new EP Ghost, out October 16th. It features collaborations with Cass McCombs, Jon Brion, Greg Kurstin, Ariel Rechtshaid, and Dev Hynes of Blood Orange. (Rechtshaid and Hynes co-wrote the track.) The track “Red Lips” was co-written by Shirley Manson of Garbage.

CRYSTAL CASTLES – PLAGUE

Originally created by a fan of the band, Ivan Grbin, Crystal Castles liked it so much, they decided to make it the official video. It uses footage from the 1981 Andrzej Zulawski film Possession.
Their new album III is out through Casablanca/Fiction/Universal Republic digitally on November 5th, and physically on November 6th.
