Each tape measure is individually hand engraved by the artist. On the front is a trompe l’oeil sticker that duplicates Tom’s personal tape measure, so that you can build (or measure) great things too.

The collaboration by adidas Originals and Star Wars continues into Fall/Winter 2010. Today we preview exclusively the upcoming Conductor Hi “Super Death Star” Stormtrooper sneaker. The high top sneaker comes in a black/white colorway, using several premium leathers on the upper. On top the sneaker has lots of little details, including embossed logos, patches on the tongue and side-panels, prints and more.

Canon is to release a updated version of our favourite pocket sized S90, the S95. “The S95 update to last year’s S90 combines Canon’s DIGIC 4 image processing, a 10-megapixel high-sensitivity CCD sensor, and wide f/2.0 lens to enhance image quality and reduce noise at high ISO levels without resorting to a flash. It features a new high dynamic range (HDR) mode, 720p video recording, and mini HDMI for throwing that video up to the living room flat screen. the S95 is also the first PowerShot to feature Hybrid IS image stabilisation to help with macro shots.” Released late August

Stockholm’s Gun Gallery presents a series of photographs detailing the decline of the Motor City’s once great downtown.
The story line isn’t new, of course, but the images are nonetheless stirring. Crumbling ball rooms and wasted apartments open a window to the sad realities of urban devolution. The works of Marchand and Meffre can focus only on degradation. Poignant, but ultimately more documents of time than anything else.
Exhibition runs from August 26th to September 19th 2010.
